Gibberellic acid (GA3) plays a critical part in numerous plant development and development processes. Information regarding the application of GA3 for growth and development in spinach is very low in Bangladesh. Exogenous application of GA3 in spinach can improve its phenotypic growth and development which ultimately may give higher yield. That’s why an experiment was conducted to find out the in vivo role of Gibberellic Acid (GA3) on morphological development in spinach (Spinacia oleracea L.)”. The seed of spinach (Shathi) belongs to the study was collected from Lal Teer Seed Ltd., Dhaka. The experiment was carried out with a single factor with different level of concentration of GA3 as- i) T0 = Control, ii) T1 = 100 ppm, iii) T2 = 200 ppm, iv) T3 = 300 ppm, v) T4 = 400 ppm and vi) T5 = 500 ppm. Six (6) treatments were accommodated followed by randomized complete block design with three (3) replications. The study results uncovered that the treatments expanded essentially the significantly increased the value and rate of growth and development parameters as compared to the control. The study result showed that GA3 with 200 ppm (T2) gave the highest number of edible leaves (6.40, 11.07 & 13.17) at 12 DAS, 17 DAS & 22 DAS correspondingly. The highest plant height (9.99 cm, 15.02 cm & 20.77 cm) was obtained by applying T3 (300 ppm) at the time of 12 DAS, 17 DAS & 22 DAS respectively. The GA3 with 300 ppm (T3) exhibited the highest percentage of edible portion of leaf (91.48 %).The highest leaf length growth rate, leaf breadth growth rate and plant weight growth rate were obtained with 300 ppm of GA3 (T3) sprinkling those were 0.883 %, 0.943 % and 4.87 % respectively. In the field condition, 300 ppm of GA3 (T3) was the best for plant height, length of edible leaf, breath of edible leaf, percentage edibility and growth rate of spinach. For total number of leaf & number of edible leaf T2 (200 ppm) was the best concentration. But T4 (400 ppm) was the best for fresh weight of spinach plant.
