The record of history demonstrates that to eliminate a country's techno-economic backwardness it is necessary first of all to diversify the pattern of the economy by equipping it with the latest machinery and utilizing modern technologies and techniques of production. Industrialization is the key to restructuring the economy. Industrialization is often considered as the source of income and employment generation, enhancement of improved living conditions and a step up process for rapid social and economic development of a society. From the very beginning of academic discussion on industrialization, many theoretical perspectives try to bring forward a straightforward positive relationship between industrialization and development. However, some theories are also found in favor of the argument that it is becoming increasingly difficult for most developing countries to achieve rapid growth through industrialization. The reason behind their argument is that the impact of industrialization on the socio economic life of the industrial workers and the effects of various chemicals over human health and the surrounding environment .Since the beginning of the human civilization, mankind has lived in a competitive relationship with nature. His relentless pursuits of progress comfort and security has resulted in increased stress on the environment.
