ATTITUDES OF LEARNING ENGLISH: AN EMPIRICAL STUDY AMONG THE UNDERGRADUATES IN BANGLADESH

Attitude is the primary impetus to learn a language. This paper demonstrates students’ attitude towards English language learning at undergraduate level. The study sample consisted of 80students in Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST). This study concentrates on descriptive and analytical approaches in order to elucidate the role of attitude in learning English language. Here students have been observed, interviewed personally and also surveyed through a questionnaire to discover their attitude towards learning English. Practical and tangible findings are being achieved after a systematic application of students’ attitude towards English learning.
