BEHAVIORAL FINANCE AND INVESTMENT PERFORMANCE OF INDIVIDUAL IN THE REAL ESTATE MARKET: A CASE STUDY IN HO CHI MINH CITY

The
objective of the study was to investigate the psychological factors
overconfidence, herd, fear of loss of individual investors in the real estate
market of Ho Chi Minh City to investment performance. The study uses primary
data from a survey of 381 individual investors in the real estate market in Ho
Chi Minh City from April 2017 to September 2018 and Research use
multivariate linear regression models. The
results also show that the herd psychology factor and the loss aversion has a negative relationship to the investment performance. And the factor of overconfidence has a
positive relationship with the investment
performance.
