A field experiment was conducted at the Bangladesh Institute of Nuclear Agricultural, Mymensingh, influence of PGRs on vegetative growth and yield performance of mustard during the period from November 2013 to January 2014 with variety a of mustard namely Binasarisha-4 and four levels of two PGRs like ABT-8 and IAA, (0, 10, 20 and 30 ppm) to find out their effect on growth and yield of mustard. Observations were made on the number of branch, leaves, leaf area, flowers, siliqua, root length, total dry matter plant1, and seed yield. The PGRs resulted in significant effect on those parameters. Total dry matter yield attributers were observed best performance at 30 ppm of ABT-8 and 20 ppm of IAA. The highest seed yield plant-1, 1000 seed weight and harvest index were obtained at 20 ppm of IAA and 30 ppm of ABT-8. All parameters were found to increase gradually with the increase of ABT-8 concentration upto 30 ppm in every growth stage. But this increase was found with IAA application upto 20 ppm. There was retardation of growth at 30 ppm of ABT-8 in comparison to 20 ppm of IAA. In order to enhance growth, yield and yield attributes of mustard, 30 ppm of ABT-8 and 20 ppm of IAA as foliar spray were found more effective.
