Mango (Mangifera indica L.) is called as the king of fruits due to its high deliciousness, exceptional taste and flavor, is a very much popular fruits to the people of Bangladesh. There are several varieties of mango fruits containing deviation taste and flavors. The study was conducted to appraise the postharvest loss during harvesting; Packaging, transportation, marketing activities and to identify the marketing problems and steps to be taken at minimized. The survey was conducted from July/2017 to June/2019 to determine the causes to extend postharvest losses of mango in Bangladesh from cradle to table of the end consumer. A total of 160 respondents were interviewed face to face (questionnaire and field survey) from five districts: Chapainawabganj, Rajshahi, Shatkhora, Meherpur and Chuadanga. Sixteen problems were identified from farmers’ response. Results obtained from the study area exposed that the problem “Transportation and packaging” was ranked 1st for mango harvesting to marketing.
