SEXUAL HARASSMENT OF WORKING WOMEN IN WORK PLACE: A BURNING ISSUE

This study aims to know the working condition of women both in formal and informal sector in Khulna City Corporation. The study has conducted on purposively selected 120 respondents through survey method through face to face interview with the respondents. The specific objective of the study was to identify how many ways women can be harassed in their work place. Data has collected by using an interview schedule in a face to face interaction with the participant. The study reveals that sexual harassment could happen to anyone but women are the targeted victims mainly young aged between 20-24 years. Government need to explicitly identify the procedures and practices to solve the issue of sexual harassment for women at workplace.
