VIETNAM'S ECONOMIC RESTRUCTURING IN THE CONDITION OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC: IMPRESSIONS, CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES

This study was implemented from December 2020 to March 2021 by using data source from government statistics which were public in 2020 and 2021. These data was used to analyze some impressions of economic restructuring in the period of 2016-2020. Although, the process of restructuring Vietnam's economy achieved positive results in previous period, there were still a lot of works to do for restructuring the economy in depth and more effective. In the COVID-19 pandemic situation and unpredictable happenings of the world, challenges and opportunities of economic restructuring were discussed in order to encourage Vietnamese government to issue more powerful policies to achieve the expected development goals in the next period of 2021-2025.
